West reportedly agreed to a plea deal in March 2014 in order to avoid jail time by serving 250 hours of community service under 24 months probation.

In November 2013, West spoke at Harvard University. During his speech, West spoke about his admiration for their work and his beliefs regarding design.

“I really do believe that the world can be saved through design and everything needs to actually be architected,” West said at the time. “And this is the reason why even some of the first DONDA employees were architects that started designing T-shirts instead of buildings.”
