Dr. Dre, Eazy E Roles Cast For N.W.A "Straight Outta Compton" Biopic

Last week, it was announced that one of Ice Cube's sons was slated to portray him in "Straight Outta Compton."

Marcus Callendar will play Dr. Dre and Jason Mitchell will play Eazy-E in the forthcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, according to allhiphop.com.

Mitchell has appeared in Broken City and Contraband, among other films, while Callendar has yet to be featured in a major motion picture.

Last week, it was reported that Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. is slated to play Ice Cube in Straight Outta Compton

Universal hasn't confirmed the Cube casting. Nevertheless, the site says several individuals close to the project have confirmed the casting to The Wrap

In February, Cube spoke with The Guardian. The former N.W.A star confirmed rumors that he wants his son, O'Shea, to play him in the movie.

"Yes. I've been trying to get that pushed along," Ice Cube said at the time. "Just wanna make sure that he's the best man for the job."
