Petition Against Kanye?

A group called The Mindset Army isn’t very happy with Kanye West as of late. And as a result of their displeasure with the Grammy nominated emcee/producer the group has drawn up a petition to have the artist removed from the Grammy ballots.

Why you ask? Well rumor has it that the song “Jesus Walks” was not actually Kanye’s to begin with. The song allegedly belongs to an artist by the name of Rhymefest who sold Kanye the self-produced and written song. Rhymefest is credited as a co-writer on the track even though it has never been pinpointed exactly what part of “Jesus Walks” has anything to do with the Indianapolis based Rhymefest. The song has since been nominated for both Best Rap Song and Song of the Year and The Mindset Army isn’t happy that Kanye is receiving all the credit. The group feels that it is “disrespectful” that someone who makes the claims of being great like Kanye does, lavish in the glory of receiving the award while being incapable as an artist,

As a result of this alleged “ghostwriting” and “ghostproducing” The Mindset Army have drafted a petition to The Recording Acadamy demanding that his name be removed from consideration in the 10 categories in which he was nominated for Grammy Awards. We are not sure how much truth there is to these accusations for they are mere speculation.
