The group responsible for "Teach Me How To Dougie" loses another member after M-Bone's murder in 2011.
According to a report from MTV, JayAre of the Hip Hop group Cali Swag Distric passed away in a hospital yesterday (June 6). JayAre, whose given name is Cahron Childs, reportedly suffered from sickle cell anemia. The rapper was brought to the hospital on Thursday night and suffered a cardiac arrest after being admitted.
JayAre’s death is the second for a group previously made up of four members, In 2011, fellow Cali Swag District member M-Bone was killed in drive-by-shooting that took place in Inglewood, California.
The Inglewood formed group found success in 2010 with their debut single “Teach Me How To Dougie.” That song, which was released on Capitol records, was eventually certified platinum and contained on their first release The Kickback.
