Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been mocked in an ad from the New York Sports Clubs and in a print story in the New York Post. The latter also posted on Twitter its item slamming the couple, who were married in Italy Saturday (May 24).
The New York Sports Clubs ran an ad saying, “Kanye, stay in shape. the last guy only lasted 72 days. Last longer than a Hollywood marriage. Join today.”
Kardashian was married to professional basketball player Kris Humphries for 72 days in 2011.
The New York Post tweeted Monday (May 26) that, "Two jackasses got married in Italy Saturday.” That line also started the paper’s wedding announcement. The rest of the passage is as follows: “Sex-tape star Kim Kardashian, 33, wed egotist Kanye West, 36, in a wedding opulent enough for Florence’s Medici dynasty and tacky enough for reality TV. They were betrothed at Florence’s 16th-century Fort di Belvedere castle. Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle. The republic still stands."
