Pitbull has filed a federal lawsuit against E. & J. Winery & New Amsterdam Spirits Company as a result of a cocktail recipe called “The Pit Bull,” TMZ reports.
Pitbull is suing for all the profits made off of his name, and for “Pit Bull” to be removed from New Amsterdam’s website.
The recipe — a mix of Vodka, lime juice, grapefruit juice and lemon-lime soda – is featured in both physical and online promotional material.

Pitbull is an owner of Voli Spirits, a brand that sells flavored vodka. Voli was recently named in a lawsuit stemming from a March Voli promotional event that lead to one man’s death.
Pitbull recently performed his World Cup anthem, “We Are One” with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, at the Billboard Music Awards.
