Solange Knowles' Twitter Explanation Regarding Jay Z Attack Confirmed Fake

Some believed Solange Knowles posted a message on Twitter regarding her attack of Jay Z. The Twitter post is confirmed to be false.

A screenshot of an alleged Solange Knowles Twitter update surfaced online and now it has been confirmed that the post is fake.

"he tried the right one.I keep telling yall that nigga ain't bout that life. u hit my sis I hit u hoe. talk what you know! y'all don't know [expletive]," the screenshot says.

The post appears to have come from Solange Knowles' verified Twitter account, though it also could have been altered. Solange's representative says it has been doctored. The rep has confirmed the update did not come from the singer's Twitter account.

"I can confirm that Solange did not tweet that; that is not a real tweet," the representative said in a statement to TMZ
