August Alsina Addresses Trey Songz Feud, Cursing On BET's "106 & Park"

August Alsina: "We don't have a problem. I just talked to Trey. The thing is, I choose to tell you what I want to tell you and the rest of it just ain't your mutherfuckin' business. Period."

August Alsina was recently asked about his alleged feud with Trey Songz.

“We don’t have a problem," August Alsina says in an interview with New York radio station Hot 97. "I just talked to Trey…I think I was in Miami with Jeezy and he got on the line with Jeezy and I hollered at 'em."

Alsina says the origin of the feud between the singers is not important.

"Honestly, it doesn’t matter," he says. "The thing is, I choose to tell you what I want to tell you and the rest of it just ain’t your mutherfuckin' business. Period.”

Alsina has avoided this question in the past. During a recent appearance on BET's 106 & Park, the singer appeared to be upset when asked about Trey Songz. "I just told y'all not to ask me that shit when I got up in here," he told the show's host, Keshia Chanté. In his more recent Hot 97 interview, the singer addressed his BET incident.

That 106 & Park interview is below.

“People get honesty and being mean mixed up nowadays," he says. "If you put me in a position, that’s how I felt...I went back to BET yesterday and that’s exactly what I said. She was like, ‘I didn’t mean to disrespect you,’ and I was like, ‘Well, it wasn’t my intention to disrespect you.' Yeah, there was a conversation. But the thing was, before this conversation, I felt how I felt and I spoke on how I felt. You know. I don’t take back nothing that I said.

"I speak from my heart," he adds. "I got a big fuckin' mouth. I don't know how to change that."

In the past, Alsina also explained his stance on Trey Songz.

“I don’t really fuck with Trey right now," he said in an interview with Rap-Up in March. "We don’t get along right now. We ain’t on the same page. He did some other shit and we just don’t rock."

Alsina's Testimony album has sold approximately 99,000 units as of this week
