N.O.R.E. is on a press run recently off of his newest mixtape release and recently stopped by the Breakfast Club to talk about his new endeavors and past happenings.

When the topic of his long-time running mate Capone came up, N.O.R.E. said the bond is still strong.

“Me and Capone is brothers, our problem is our relationship is public, similar to these other guys but that’s really my family,” he said. “My nephew one day, I said something dumb and he was like, ‘Yo, keep that between ya’ll.'”

N.O.R.E. Addresses Shooting Involving Mobb Deep

“You know when Prodigy came up here, he clearly said, ‘N.O.R.E. shot somebody so a lot of people checked him and said he was dry-snitiching on me so he wanted to come back and change his story and say that no I shot at the floor. A nigga got shot. I don’t have to say how I did it or whatever.

“At the end of the day I have no beef with Prodigy, I have no beef with Havoc but this is a classic example of you have to get off your own dick, meaning, they clearly lost this war, lost this battle. I had a fight with a dude in Queensbridge, I washed him up. The next day he came, got his big homie, they came at me. He got hit in his leg, the reason he got hit in his leg was because the dude I was shooting at was a real ninja… After that the dudes jumped me and then I shot again and not the next week, not the next day, soon as I got up… So this is a classic case of you have to not be on your own dick because there is no way they could ever think they won that war. I feel like I thrashed them. Of course when I read [My Infamous Life] I was thrown off because me and P is cool. I don’t look at P as an enemy and I never did because I was shooting and purposely not trying to hit him and not trying to hit Hav. But now that the book came out I might have just let it go, you know what I’m saying [laughs].”
