Xzibit Reps Video Games
Xzibit has been very visible as of late. From Right Guard commercials to MTVs Pimp My Ride, the rapper has been getting much pub on the eve of his next album Weapons of Mass Destruction. Add a video game cover to the list as Xzibit will be on the cover of EA Sports NFL Street 2 alongside NY Giants Jeremy Shockey. This will mark the first time a music artist has been on the cover of an EA Sports video game.
Xzibit will also provide commentary and give players hints and advice in the games how to portion of the game. ubbed the Rucker Park of the football scene, players square off on a half-dirt, half-grass fenced in field, surrounded by high-rise projects. Online play, additional gameplay modes and interaction with the walls are among the new features of NFL Street 2.
Our goal with NFL Street 2 was to make the gameplay of the first version of NFL Street obsolete, said Jason Barnes, designer of NFL Street 2. To do this, we needed to add new gameplay features and improve on the original. Once we got the wall catches up and running, we knew we had added something unique and fun to football gaming.
Xzibits Weapons of Mass Destruction is still scheduled to be released this December.
