Frank Ocean Says He "Might Skip On Coachella" To Finish Album
Frank Ocean also says he feels like Outkast is "finna wild out tho."
Frank Ocean, who is working on his latest project, says he might not make it to Coachella this year.
"I’M OPENING UP FOR OUTKAST THIS SUMMER AT PEMBERTON SO I MIGHT SKIP ON COACHELLA TO STAY IN THE GROOVE AND FINISH THIS BITCH… I FEEL LIKE THEY’RE FINNA WILD OUT THO. FUCK IT.. BRING THE HELICOPTER OUT," Frank Ocean said in a recent Tumblr post.
Frank Ocean has been working on his sophomore album, a release he spoke with MTV about last year.
"When I was making the first [album] there were a group of artists that I listened to, just for inspiration and to absorb the energies," he said at the time. "It was a lot of Stevie Wonder, and this time it's a lot of Beach Boys and Beatles and whatnot, so we'll see how it trickles into the music and the final product. I can't say much other than that."
OutKast is scheduled to perform at Coachella, which is set to kick off today (April 11) with Week 1 of its event. OutKast is also slated to perform in more than 40 concerts throughout the year.
