According to a report from 7 News, a news station servicing those in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, a member of the Hip Hop trio Migos was injured during a shooting that took place on Interstate 95. The injured member, whose identity is currently unknown at the time, was shot in the leg and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The news station reports that authorities in the matter revealed that the shooting took place after a performance from the group at a venue in Broward County, Florida was cancelled.

“They were supposed to be performing at Cafe Iguanas in Broward and apparently for whatever reason there was an altercation or disagreement with management and they didn’t perform, so as they were driving southbound on I-95, according to the witnesses in the van, a dark vehicle pulled along side them and opened fire,” Joe Sanchez, a Florida Highway Patrol Tropper said. “A member of the group was in possession of his personal handgun and he returned fire.”

“There was at least 40 rounds being blasted on those n*****,” Migos’ manager said, according to TMZ.

No other details in the shooting have been revealed.
