Atlantic Records reportedly hosted a private welcome home dinner for Lil Boosie following the rapper’s March 5 release from prison, according to AllHipHop

The dinner was hosted at The W New Orleans and it featured appearances from other rappers, including Jeezy. 

Today (March 10), Atlantic Records, Trill Ent. and Lil Boosie are set to host a press conference, the rapper’s first press conference since his release from prison. The press conference can be streamed live via BoosieSpeaks.comThe press conference was announced March 7.

Lil Boosie was released from a Louisiana State Penitentiary March 5. The rapper was sent to prison in 2009 after pleading guilty to a marijuana possession charge, which was the rapper’s third offense. He received four years of incarceration. In 2011, Boosie pleaded guilty to attempting to smuggle drugs into prison and was given eight more years on his sentence, as per NOLA.
