Young Thug has confirmed his status as a Cash Money Records artist.
“Yeah,” Young Thug says, according to a Mass Appeal story published yesterday (February 15). “I signed.”
The Atlanta rapper made the statement in New Orleans during NBA All-Star weekend while heading into a club with Birdman.

In a different interview with Fader, Young Thug expressed his admiration for YMCMB artist Lil Wayne.
“That’s my idol,” Young Thug said. “Everything he do.”
Young Thug, who has released the singles “Stoner” and “Danny Glover,” also addressed his relationship with Gucci Mane, an artist he’s worked with as a 1017 Brick Squad Records signee.
