Ma$e: A Father Sued!
As reported earlier, Ma$e was a no show for his Welcome Back concert. But why would anyone miss their own damn concert huh? Well Ma$e has a damn good reason. Just recently he became a father to a baby boy! His wife Twyla gave birth to the little dude and Ma$e felt that it was vital that he be there because his father wasnt there when he was born (according to sources).
It is still unknown whether promoters for the show will still pursue their plans to sue Ma$e in order to recover funds that were lost on the event. It is roumered that Ma$e has only retunred $26,000 out of the intial $45,000 payment made.
"Bottom line, we got a signed contract from him for the show, promoter Naquan Busby told MTV. Mase was the only act on the whole bill that was paid 100 per cent of his money upfront. He got it, every dime.
Homeboy was paid.
Possibly after hearing the news they will opt not to. But at least this kills the rumor that Ma$e had retired again.
