Police put an end to the Grammy Awards afterparty festivities thrown by Meek Mill, which TMZ reports was attended by “more than a thousand celebrities.”

Among the celebrities attending the event, which took place at a rented mansion in Hollywood, California, were Diddy, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, and others.

The party reportedly went until 5:00 in the morning, when the California Highway Patrol arrived.

While most of the guests attending were shuttled up to the mansion, many parked illegally along Muholland Drive, where the mansion is located, and promptly had their vehicles towed.

As an attraction, the party featured a live camel and lion, with whom party guests took photographs.

California police are accustomed to dealing with such events, as evinced by the fact that they shut down Snoop Lion’s 4/20 party last April.
