Juicy J Announces New Album In 2014

Juicy J has announced that he is slated to release a new album this year.

Juicy announced this project through Twitter, an announcement that follows last year’s Stay Trippy.

Stay Trippy was released in August 2013. The album features Project Pat, Justin Timberlake and Wiz Khalifa.

The album received a 3 out of 5 rating by HipHopDX.

“Some Rap is tailor made for headphone listening and careful analysis of every word,” HipHopDX wrote at the time. “Then there are songs that are meant to be played loud in public settings, and the lyrics don’t matter so much. If you haven’t already figured it out, Stay Trippy is the latter. And for as much flack as it receives, there is entertainment value there and it serves its purpose as a soundtrack to the ‘trippy’ lifestyle. Still, existing within that world that overlooks lyrical competence or any moral deficiencies, there are enough instances where the veteran’s effortless style starts veering too close to effort-less. But it doesn’t seem like the veteran will be going away anytime soon.”

HipHopDX also named Stay Trippy one of the year’s Top 25 albums of the year.

    1. Juicy J is about to have his first top ten hit with Dark Horse. He’s a terrific rapper, better than macklemore and k dot (who are both wack) and on the same level as ymcmb/mmg.

      1. No, you’re delusional, dentalbitch. It’s not going to be in the Top 10 and the only reason it’s a Top 10 hit is because it’s a Katy Perry song, which makes Juicy J a sellout. He’s not better than Kendrick and Macklemore (both of them are better than him). You’re right about one thing. Juicy J is as wack as YMCMB/MMG.

      2. It will be in the top 10 tomorrow. And Juicy J had a lot to do with the success of dark horse. Please note that Perry’s last single, Unconditionally, bombed and didn’t make the top 10. Juicy J is not a sellout. By your logic TI is a sellout for doing songs with britney spears and CHristina Allguelira, Dr Dre is a sellout for doing songs with gwen stefani and alicia keys, and eminem is a sellout for doing songs with pink and Bruno Mars.

Also, Juicy J is as good as ymcmb and MMG (legends) and are way better than K Dot, Macklemore, Eminem. (wack)

      3. No, it won’t. It’ll never reach the Top 10. Dark Horse would’ve been successful without him. Perry’s single Roar went to #1 and Unconditionally didn’t tank, making the Top 20. Juicy J is a sellout. Dre and Em are not sellouts (how is working with Alicia Keys selling out?). Also, your last sentence is backwards. Juicy J is trash like YMCMB/MMG while Eminem, Kendrick, and Macklemore are better and doper than them.

      4. how is Juicy J a sellout when on every pop feature hes on hes still saying some thug ass Mtown shit? you don’t know what you’re talking about

    2. Three 6 Mafia is the greatest hip hop group of all time. Hopefully Juicy and Paul can continue to show that this year
