As both a musician and an actor/writer, Childish Gambino recently took it upon himself to release a script for his upcoming album, because the internet, before the LP’s release next week.

Posted on becausetheinter.net, the digital script consists of audio and a series of videos that “are meant to be played while” one is listening to Gambino’s latest project.

Videos included in the script include one in which the Stone Mountain rapper is seen lying in a hospital bed. Beneath the video, which is to be played to the because the internet track “Flight Of The Navigator,” is a description that reads, “The Boy wakes up. He’s in a gown. His eyes feel heavy. The TV is on in his room. “Golden Girls” to be specific. One of the ladies just said something funny cause there’s a lot of laughter.”

Gambino, who recently dropped his “3005” music video, recently spoke on the limitedness of the word “rapper” during an interview on “Arsenio” last month. He revealed that in his opinion no rapper wants to be considered merely a rapper.

“Rappers don’t want to be rappers,” he said. “They don’t. It’s true. Every rapper I talk to says they want to do this or that. They’re usually artists who want to do a bunch of stuff. I don’t think any rapper wants to be just a rapper.”
