Twista "Back To The Basics" Release Date, Cover Art & Tracklisting

UPDATE: Twista reveals the cover art and tracklisting for his upcoming Back To The Basics album.

Twista has revealed the cover art for his Back To The Basics EP, a project slated to be released December 10.

The EP is scheduled to include production from various producers, including The Legendary Traxster, DJ Tight Mike and Lo-Key, among others.

Twista announced the released date earlier this month via Twitter.

Twista also recently participated in a turkey giveaway, which he discussed on Twitter.

In 2012, there were rumors that the Chicago emcee was close to signing with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint. Although the two never inked a deal, Twista spoke about their chemistry during an interview with allhiphop.com in 2012.

"I definitely think when me and him go in the studio, we have an energy, and I think, what it is that he brings out of me is, like, once he goes into it and has an idea for a song, it's just different," Twista says in an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com. "It's Kanye, so it's like 'wow,' and I gotta do what I have to do to compliment it or mess with it. So I think I go into a mode when I think it's time to work with Kanye, and I think when he has a vision of me on a song, he'll listen and he'll be like, 'man, I hear Twista on this.' And usually it's a perfect fit when he hears a person on a song."

During a separate interview with HipHopDX, Twista said that he had no ill will towards Kanye West despite not being on G.O.O.D. Music.

"'Ye my man," Twista said. "‘Ye is one of my favorite rappers of all time."

Kanye West and Twista have worked together on a variety of selections, including "Slow Jamz" and "Overnight Celebrity" from his 2004 Kamikaze album, and "Impossible," a single from the 2006 film Mission Impossible 3.
