Mike WiLL Made-It has announced his upcoming mixtape #MikeWiLLBeenTrill is slated to be hosted by Future.

“I feel like me and him have a good wave going on right now,” Mike WiLL says in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“This is a chance for people to hear dope songs from other artists that I’ve been involved in,” Mike WiLL says of the project. “I’m gonna have the records that I have in the street like Jay Z, and probably new stuff from Jeezy and Future.”

During a recent interview with HipHopDX, Mike WiLL Made-It spoke about his friendship with Future and other artists.

“I’m heavily involved in Future’s album, and I’m blessed to be friends and have so much history with these artists leading the new generation,” Mike WiLL said. “I’ve spent so much time working with them that we have real relationships. With Future and Kendrick [Lamar] being on top of Hip Hop; I’ve been knowing him since before he was poppin’. ScHoolboy Q is about to come out, and I’ve been knowing him. I’ve known 2 Chainz since 2007, and Miley Cyrus is making the transition back into artist mode. So I can executive produce her album, and we’re able to start a sound.”

Mike WiLL Made-It has yet to announce a release date for his upcoming album, tentatively titled Est. In 1989 Pt. 3 (The Album). During the more recent Rolling Stone interview, Mike also says that he is in no rush to release the album.

“I’m not really the type that likes to put out a project just to say I’ve put it out,” he says. “I like to make them count. I don’t want to put out my album unless it’s a moment like when Dr. Dre dropped The Chronic. People have been recording mixtapes off of Dre’s instrumentals and I want to do the same thing and make sure it’s a moment in time. I want to make sure my album’s perfect and that when it comes out it’s a moment.”
