Pharrell Gets Ice Cream
The Ice Cream Footwear Collection will be released by Reebok next month, their third licensing with a hip-hop artist. The athletic giant will also handle Pharrells oft-talked about clothing line the Billionaire Boys Club.
"There is a tremendous opportunity for us to create a niche in the sneaker category that would set this collection apart from anything else that is out there," Williams said. "The Ice Cream collection is everything the sneaker enthusiast desires -- it is fashionable, aspirational, and most of all it is limited."
The lines will both be high priced and available in limited quantities. The first line of shoes will run $200. The first set of shoes will have sparkling images of diamonds and dollar bills, according to RBK. Wow.
