Tech N9ne, who released hisĀ Therapy Sessions With Ross RobinsonĀ EP this month, recently spoke with hotnewhiphop.com about his hopes for working with Eminem.

ā€œIā€™d like to work with Eminem,ā€ N9ne said during the interview. ā€œJust me and him on a song, ā€™cause I think heā€™s one of the dopest rappers out there, and I wanna hear how I sound next to one of the dopest motherfuckers Iā€™ve heard. Iā€™ve worked with some of his homies, Proof, Slaughterhouse, D12, all of ā€™em, heā€™s the only one left. Even Yelawolf. I worked with all them mothafuckers. Heā€™s the only one left.ā€

This echoes similar sentiments Tech N9ne had in 2012.Ā

ā€œI think [Eminem] makes everyone want to come with their A-game,ā€ Tech said in a 2012 interview with Shade 45. ā€œHeā€™s an elite emcee. We are also. Thatā€™s one of the qualifications you have to have for Strange Music. I love extreme lyricists. And to me, heā€™s the extreme lyricist when it comes to wordplay and all of that, emotion and everything. A lot of people just want to hear us on a track to hear who would win. I just want to see how I sound next to who I deem the best rapper.ā€

Eminem was reportedly set to be on Tech N9neā€™s ā€œSo Lonelyā€ offĀ All 6ā€™s & 7ā€™s. However, the collaboration did not come to fruition.Ā

This year, Tech N9ne has continued to praise Eminemā€™s efforts, specifically when heā€™s been asked about ā€œRap God.ā€

ā€œYes, I heard ā€˜Rap God,'ā€ Tech N9ne said during a recent interview withĀ nehip-hop.com. ā€œEverybody want to know what I think.Ā I think heā€™s rapping his ass off. Thatā€™s what I think. Somebody said it makes me want to hit the pad harder. Iā€™m like, ā€˜I always hit the pad hard.ā€™ But that [song], I was smiling, so it was a good thing. I listened to it twice.ā€Ā

Tech N9neā€™sĀ Therapy Sessions With Ross RobinsonĀ EP landed at #32 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart in its first week. The project features ā€œPublic School,ā€ a song that Tech recently spoke with HipHopDX about.Ā

ā€œItā€™s a song thatā€™s bitter about my education back then,ā€Tech N9neĀ said during an exclusive interview with HipHopDX. ā€œNow keep in mind that Iā€™m the #1 independent rapper, they say. So I did this with the education I have, business savvy and everything. But Iā€™m just thinking, what would I have been with a bit more information? I could talk to way more people. When I went to France, I couldnā€™t speak. Motherfuckers had French in school. I didnā€™t have it. They rather give me an hour and something in gym. I skipped it and fucked. I did, in the hallways, in the little stairwells. I skipped it, every day and fucked. I could have been doing other things, and thatā€™s what ā€˜Public Schoolā€™ is about, is me being bitter about some of my teachers, because education is the key to everything, to unlock any door. Thatā€™s what I think.ā€
