Trinidad James Releases

Trinidad James takes aim at New York radio personalities Peter Rosenberg and Charlamagne Tha God from Hot 97 and Power 105.1 respectively.

Trinidad James commented on New York Rap yesterday (November 13) and released a track discussing New York radio hosts soon after. The song, "L.I.A.A.R.S.," which stands for "Lame$ I$ Alway$ Acting Real...$ure" begins with lines about two specific radio personalities based in New York.

"Rosenberg tried me," Trinidad raps on the track. "I almost hit him in his shit / God said spare him, now we best of friends / On Hot 97, trying to crank the fuckin' shit / Ain't no God for Charlamagne if he try me again."

James is likely referring to Peter Rosenberg of New York radio station Hot 97 and Charlamagne Tha God from New York radio station Power 105.1.

"I know I sound crazy," James says before his first verse. "You are not finna talk to me crazy."

The hook contains lines about craziness as well.

"They say I'm going crazy," Trinidad James raps on the hook. "I know I'm going crazy / They say I'm going crazy / But I don't give a fuck."

James' comments regarding New York Rap were made during a concert Tuesday (November 12). James commented on those remarks the following day on Twitter.

“I remember when New York ran this shit, dog,” Trinidad said at the concert. “When Dipset was fuckin turned the fuck up. Oh my God. I gotta wear my bandana on tilt like Juelz. What the fuck happened, dog? What happened? I remember when New York rap was the shit. And us in the South, us bammas, we was like ‘what the fuck’ and we just did our own thing. But now we run y’all musically. That’s crazy. That’s crazy. That’s crazy, my nigga. That’s crazy. I’m not trying to start nothing, but if you want to do something we can do something cause I don’t give a fuck. I looked up to New York music. And now every nigga that’s really poppin’ out of New York, you might as well tell they from Atlanta. ‘He from Atlanta. He from Atlanta. He from Atlanta.’ I’m just putting it out there. Y’all got more bloggers—y’all got niggas interviewing more popular than niggas that’s rapping.”

James faced criticism for his comments from some, including rapper Maino, who threatened James via Twitter. James responded to Maino's threats on Instagram.

"Maino wanna shoot me for saying the truth then shoot on. I ain't backtracking shit. Ny consumers are a disgrace to their own culture. I don't ever have to make it on the radio ever. Fuck the radio. I'll die a real nigga. I speak the truth....and the TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE....#CrazyDeacon#BlackBatman...coming soon. You gonna wanna hear this. Ima die with a Trini Flag in the Air... "WHEN I DIE BURY ME IN A CARNIVAL"!!!

James' "L.I.A.A.R.S." can be streamed on HipHopDX.

4 short.... Trinidad misses NY hip hop's own identity, he misses that good ol'boom bap that NY produced.

    > Trinidad James is trying to back track his way out of this and cop a plea. He said " if anybody wants a problem then bring it" Until Maino spoke up, now he wants to say he was talking about the fans not the rappers. Lol. He wants to pretend to act crazy but now he sobered up all of the sudden. Lol V

You can tell he sounds scared as fuc of Maino. LOL. He's trying to back track as much as possible without backing down. He's trying to walk a thin line right now instead of continueing to pretend like he's crazy. Lol.

As an accountant for Cash Money, I can confirm that a documentary starring Birdman will be released in January 2014. It details the life & career of Brian "Baby" Williams and how he influenced other legendary rappers such as Rakim, Kool G. Rap, and Big Daddy Kane. Birdman, myself, and Ronald "Slim" Williams executive produced the film; I also directed it & wrote the screenplay. YMCMB - we run the game by the clit.

Trinidad is absolutely right. NY rappers don't support each other. Most of them live in atlanta or miami. most are signed to other rappers outside of ny. true or false. you are only offended if it really hits home. who has maino put on from ny? yea he had a song with a bunch of ny rappers a while ago. he also needs to worry about his own career.

Don't post anything here. Don't let this joke get a reaction. Don't click on any trinidad articles so DX stops putting them on here.
