Drake's "Nothing Was The Same" goes platinum, Linkin Park's "RECHARGED" debuts in Top 10, DJ Khaled's "Suffering From Success" drops several slots and Eminem has several albums make the charts.

This week on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, Drake's Nothing Was The Same reaches a milestone, Linkin Park debuts with RECHARGED and DJ Khaled's Suffering From Success drops several slots.

MellowHigh also released its self-titled album this week. The group's project landed at #89, selling just more than 4,000 units. MellowHigh is a group formed by members of Odd Future. The group features Domo GenesisHodgy Beats and Left Brain. Their album features Smoke DZA and Earl Sweatshirt, among others.

This week, Eminem continued to make the list with several albums from his discography. Eminem's Recovery sold nearly 4,000 units this week to land at #99. It has sold more than 4,502,000 units overall. Eminem's The Eminem Show also sold approximately 4,000 this week to land at #100. Overall, the project has moved more than 10,263,000 units. Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP also sold approximately 4,000 units this week to land at #106. Overall, the album has sold more than 10,756,000. Eminem also had Curtain Call land at #157 this week, selling approximately 3,000 units. Overall, Curtain Call has moved more than 3,773,000 units to date. Each of these albums featured an increase in sales this week. Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was released Tuesday (November 5). Sales for the new album are slated to be reflected in next week's report.

Drake's Nothing Was The Same Certified Platinum

Drake Nothing Was The Same has gone platinum. The project, which was released September 24, sold more than 650,000 units in its first week. This week, its sixth, the collection sold 38,237 units, helping it reach the platinum milestone. To date, Nothing Was The Same has sold more than 1,029,000 copies. In September, Drake spoke about his expectations for the album. "Really, just more than September 24, I'm just excited whenever people get the music," continued Drake. "The numbers, the sales, all that stuff it's cool. I'm sure I'll get into it on the day like, 'How much did we sell,' trying to figure it out, but aside from that, I'm just excited for people to hear the full body of work."

Linkin Park RECHARGED Makes Top 10

Linkin Park's RECHARGED landed at #10 on the charts in its first week. It sold approximately 33,000 units in its first week. The group's album is a reinterpretation project based on tracks that were previously released. RECHARGED includes contributions from Pusha T, Rick Rubin, Bun B and Ryu of Styles of Beyond, among others. Chester Bennington, Linkin Park's lead singer, spoke about the new album in a recent interview with MTV. "I think any of our songs lend themselves well to being remixed," Bennington said. "I think it just comes down to being inspired to do it. There were some moments on the last record, where we kind of felt like we had come full circle. We've established this identity of being a genre-less band, and so we figured we could take that even a bit further. We decided to let other artists come in and see where their vibe comes from...and once we started working with artists like Steve Aoki and some of these EDM guys, it felt like a natural progression."

DJ Khaled Suffering From Success Drops To #28

DJ Khaled's Suffering From Success landed at #28, moving just below 9,000 units in its second week. Last week, Khaled debuted the album at #7. In October, Khaled spoke about where he feels he is in his career. "My dreams are coming true, but I still have a long way to go,” Khaled said in an interview with thesource.com. “What I’m learning is the word ‘focus.’ They need to make another word because I’m more than focused. The energy I bring out is love and motivation and inspiration for the youth. I’m somebody that will inspire you to do it. I believe the more blessings you give, the more blessings you get back...My whole career they told me no. What I do is the same thing that your other moguls do. Only I do it better. I make hits, I find hits, and I put hits out. I am We the Best music. I am the genius behind a lot of projects. A lot of #1 songs. I’m a fuckin' genius."

Hey, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, very good blog!

Hi! I understand this is sort of off-topic but I had to ask. Does operating a well-established blog such as yours take a massive amount work? I am brand new to blogging but I do write in my diary everyday. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my personal experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!

the album could possibly sell between 700,000 and 750,000 POSSIBLY MORE
    • Message To Fan Girls
It doesnt really matter if he got more 1st week sales, Recovery sold waay more than Tha Carter V even Relapse which had 600+ the first week. Difference is Eminem keeps selling during the next weeks while Wayne sell maybe the few weeks and then it stops. I'm not the type to discus about numbers since I only care about lyrics, but the day Lil Wayne is going to sell 1.78 million the first week, will be the same day I will checking you.
