Secret Service Agent Says Chris Brown Did Not Strike Alleged Victim

Secret service agent's account may save Brown from prison time.

Chris Brown, who was recently allegedly involved in a fight in Washington, D.C. may be able to avoid trouble stemming from the altercation, according to tmz.com

According to documents obtained by tmz.com, a witness to the fight told police officials that he heard the alleged victim inform a D.C. officer that Brown did not hit him.

The police officer later denied speaking with the witness in question, as per tmz.com. However, a secret service agent reportedly on duty near the incident told D.C. police that he heard the victim tell an officer that Brown did not hit him.

Brown is facing up to four years in prison if he is found to be in violation of probation stemming from his Rihanna assault case.

Brown is reportedly in a rehab facility for anger management issues.

Yesterday (October 30), it was reported by tmz.com that Brown could be in rehab for up to three months.

The rehab stay has prevented Brown from fulfilling appearances at nightclubs. Brown was slated to appear at the Conga Room in Los Angeles, California today (October 31) and Haze nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada Friday (November 1). Both clubs were recently alerted that Brown would no longer attend their events. The Congra Room event has been cancelled, while the Haze event is slated to continue without Brown's involvement, as per tmz.com.

After news of Brown's rehab entry were reported, his representative released a statement.

"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility," his representative said, as per cnn.com. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."
