King of the Dot’s Battle of the Bay 6 took place in Oakland, California Saturday, October 12. The event featured various battles, including one between Pass and DNA

Pass spoke with HipHopDX about his face-off against DNA.

“I previously mentioned that Pass vs. DNA might have been the most competitive battle of the night, and I would say I was correct with my prediction,” Pass said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “In my opinion, our battle had the best energy from the crowd of the whole night. I’ll reserve my comments on if it was a bodybag or not until the footage comes out and the people decide.”

Pass spoke further on how his rounds were received by the crowd.

“It’s hard for me to pinpoint which raps specifically got the most crowd reaction,” Pass said. “Personally, when I’m up on stage in the moment, everything is sort of a blur. However, one that’s sticking out in my head is the last few bars of my first verse where I flip DNA’s semi-famous slogan, ‘Get ’em the fuck outta here.’ I’ll let the footage show you exactly how I flipped it. I think the crowd was surprised and reacted the way they did because he says this line in literally every single battle, and I haven’t heard anyone flip it quite how I did. Once again, I’ll let footage do the talking.”

Pass noted that he is also ready to continue working on music.

“I’m not completely sure what’s next for me in terms of future battle opponents,” Pass said. “I’m definitely working hard on some music. Trust me when I say that I will be killing the stereotype about battle rappers making music. Regarding my next battle, I would like to head over to New York.  I say a couple raps about New York, some New York rappers [in the DNA battle]. You’ll see when this battle drops.”

Pass has previously battled several rappers, including Hollow Da Don, who is slated to battle Loaded Lux in February 2014. Pass has also battled against K-Shine and Remy D. Both of those battles can be viewed below.
