Self-proclaimed “foodie” Bun B has announced his new interactive food blog, YouGottaEatThis.com.

“One of the great features about the site,” Bun B, co-founder of YouGottaEatThis.com, says in the clip, “it’s a place where you can show us a picture of what you ate today. We’ll upload it to the website and you’ll become a part of YouGottaEatThis.com.”

YouGottaEatThis.com is the cyber brainchild of Houston, Texas resident emcee Bun B and sneaker guru Premium Pete. Already experienced in creating an online niche, Premium Pete is the founder of SneakerTube.TV, a website curated for the sneaker community.

“We realized that people may talk different, walk different, look different but everyone loves food,” Bun B says. “We’d figure it would be a great place for people to come together over one common thread, being food, which everyone loves and so far, it’s been doing a great job.”

The categories on the food-centered website include pizza, recipes, snacks, restaurant, vegetarian, international food, drinks, desserts, seafood and home-cooked meals. The site also features the user-submitted content section titled WDYET, short for What Did You Eat Today?, where readers have the option to share food pictures directly through their phone or by using the photo submission box.

“Everybody that knows me knows that I’m a foodie,” Bun B says. “I love food and, being in Houston, we’ve got a lot of great places that you can go to eat. Brick and mortar spots, as well as food trucks, and believe me, having friends like Chris Sheperd, Joshua Martinez and Marcus Davis in this town does not make it any easier on my stomach, but then again I love being here in the city.”

Another venture that Bun B has contributed with this year is publishing a coloring book, Bun B’s Rap Coloring And Activity Bookwith music critic and writer Shea Serrano.
