Paris Hilton Says She's Been Deejay Training For Two Years
Paris Hilton says the most difficult part of deejaying has been picking out which software to use.
“I’ve been hosting and doing appearances at clubs since I was 18 [years old],” she said. “Club owners always wanted me to deejay and now I’ve finally decided to do it and take it seriously. I’ve been training very hard for the past two years. I just love it.”
When asked by DJ Skee what was the most difficult part of deejaying, Paris Hilton said, “picking out the deejay software I wanted to use.
“Now I’m on a Traktor s4, which I love,” she continued. “It’s really cool to learn all the software and have fun with it and play around.”
The video for Paris Hilton’s Cash Money Records single, “Good Times,” is scheduled to be released October 8.
The YMCMB artist also addressed her love of music, her musical influences and her forthcoming album in a recent interview with MTV.
"Music has always been a big passion of mine, but I've just been so busy with everything else," Hilton said. "I've recorded some incredible songs, EDM-influenced, Electro-Pop, and working with very talented producers. The first single is called 'Good Time.' I recorded that with Lil Wayne. I'm so excited to be signed with Cash Money...Working with Birdman and Slim, they're amazing guys, and I'm really happy to be a part of the Cash Money family."
In November 2012, Paris Hilton released "Last Night," a single featuring Lil Wayne. In May 2013, Hilton signed with Cash Money. In early August, Lil Wayne performed at Paris Hilton's birthday party. Hilton's last full-length release, Paris, which featured guest appearances by Fat Joe and Jadakiss, was released in 2006.
