King Chip has released 44108, a 19-track piece featuring MJG, Scarface, Kid Cudi and Layzie Bone, among others. Lex Luger, Cardo, Rami and Big Duke are among those who handle production on the project.

The mixtape’s title is an acknowledgment of the Cleveland, Ohio ZIP code where Chip grew up.

Formerly known as “Chip Tha Ripper,” the Cleveland native officially announced his name change in August 2012. The same day he announced his name change, he also said that he signed a deal with talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The firm also handles A Tribe Called Quest and rock acts AC/DC and Adam Levine, among others.
