Miguel was arrested for driving under the influence in Los Angeles, California today (August 15).

TMZ reports that California Highway Patrol (CHP) pulled Miguel over for speeding and because the singer’s car’s windows were tinted beyond the allowed opacity. After being stopped, police officers say that they smelled the scent of alcohol on Miguel.

Miguel failed “various” sobriety tests during the stop, according to TMZ. His breathalyzer results of .10 and .11 were higher than the California limit, which is .08. After failing the tests, Miguel was arrested and booked.
