A Mac Miller representative has responded to claims that the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper collapsed during the Phoenix, Arizona stop of his “Space Migration Tour” Friday (August 9).

“He didn’t collapse,” Miller’s rep said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX Monday (August 12). “He just ducked down on stage as part of the set.”

Outlets have reported that Miller collapsed on stage after appearing to cough in video footage of the Pheonix, Arizona show. In the video, Miller’s band members appear to rush to the rapper’s aid after Miller is seen on the floor. The lights are turned off momentarily before the show resumes. Video footage of this can be seen below, courtesy of MissDimplez.com

Miller has tweeted about the tour, which came to an end in San Diego on Saturday (August 10).

Miller’s tour also featured Vince Staples, The Internet and Chance The Rapper. Earl Sweatshirt and Action Bronson joined the tour on select dates. Miller’s next performance is scheduled to be August 15 in Hasselt, Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival.
