Timbaland Records Apology Track "Sorry" For Jay-Z

Several weeks ago, Timbaland revealed that he and frequent collaborator Jay-Z feuded after Timbaland's involvement in Jay's 2009 project, The Blueprint 3.

Timbo, who produced the bulk of Jay's latest release, Magna Carta Holy Grail, linked back up with Jay-Z for the project after the two made amends.

Now, Timbaland has recorded "Sorry," an apologetic track about Jay.

“My verse I’m saying like, ‘We copped the same Range. We talked to the same dames. Same things, same lane. Now we see each other, don’t even speak…Accept my apology,’" said Timbaland of the track. "It’s like a Tupac kinda shit…It’s deep. It’s pretty deep."

DJ Khaled Proposes To Nicki Minaj On TV

DJ Khaled may not have done it in person, but he sure knows how to propose.

The Hip Hop personality took to MTV to propose to Nicki Minaj through the camera with a 10 karat diamond ring valued at $500,000.

“I want to be honest with you," said Khaled  "I love you. I like you. I want you to be mine. The only reason I'm not telling you this face to face is because I know that you're busy."

"You need a man like me in your life that's gonna take care of you and respect you," he continued. "You gotta take your time and think about it, I understand. But I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and about how serious this is to me. I want to let your fans know, my fans know, my family, your family, that I wanna marry you."

Snow Tha Product Explains Significance Of Being Latin In Hip Hop

Hailing from San Jose, Snow Tha Product has the distinction of being one of the few Mexican-American rappers (and one of even fewer female ones) signed to a major label).

In an interview with HipHopDX, Snow spoke about the significance of her Latin heritage in the context of Hip Hop culture.

"[P]eople forget that Latinos have been in this Rap thing since the beginning," explained the rapper. "Kid Frost is an OG as far as Latinos in Hip Hop go. I love B-Real in Cypress Hill and Cuban Link is dope. Mellow Man Ace spoke Spanish on a track and made it work. We have our own thing going, but Latinos make it relatable to everyone, and it doesn’t exclude anyone. I honestly listened to Big Pun the most, but obviously South Park Mexican repped hard for Mexicans. Latin folks have been involved in Hip Hop since the start, so I don’t understand why people get so shocked that some Mexican chick is really goin’ hard in it. Sometimes they are like, 'Who is this girl? What is she reppin’?' We have the same struggles. I’m just bringing a different perspective to it. I think it’s awesome ‘cause you got people like Pitbull that are doin’ it big. Going Mr. Worldwide and shit. It’s cool to see that as far as Pop music goes, people can’t forget he was really spittin’ hard on his earlier stuff."
