The Hieroglyphics collective has been representing Oakland, California for well over 20 years. The conglomerate of Del The Funky Homosapien, Souls Of Mischief, Casual, and others have released music through their own Hiero Emporium label, sold merchandise and booked tours for years. Additionally, the group who just released The Kitchen, has announced the details of the second annual Hiero Day in their home turf.

On September 2, at Oaktown’s Linden Street Brewery in the city’s port, the group and its various individual acts will perform, along with food, drinks, and interactive enjoyment for families. The Labor Day event is completely free and open to the public.

Following Hiero’s Kitchen LP, the label has announced that Souls Of Mischief are currently working with producer Adriane Younge, who produced Twelve Reasons To Die with Ghostface Killah.
