Earlier in the month, it was reported that surveillance video obtained by pop star Justin Bieber’s security team proved the teen singer was not behind the wheel of his Ferrari during a neighborhood speeding incident, which took place in May.

According to ABC News, that video footage has now been obtained by local police and a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed that others have confirmed the video does show rapper Tyler, The Creator behind the wheel of Bieber’s Ferrari.

Following news of the incident, Bieber was quick to denounce claims he was driving the Ferrari, but the crooner’s neighbor, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, wasn’t so sure of Bieber’s claims.

Odd Future emcee Tyler, The Creator later came to the singer’s defense via Twitter as he sent out a Tweet stating that he was “behind the wheel of Justins vehicle.”

The case is expected to be presented to the district attorney’s office in the near future. If Bieber is in fact exonerated, he will no longer face possible misdemeanor charges.

In late May, Bieber drew severe criticism from neighbors when his white Ferrari was seen speeding through his Los Angeles neighborhood during the holiday weekend.
