New York songstress Chrisette Michele seemed more than eager to share the name of the female emcee she’d like to work with in the near future, while speaking recently with Rap-Up TV.

According to the singer, Australian rapstress Iggy Azalea is among the artists she’d like to record with one day. Chrisette specifically referenced Iggy’s “Work” record while speaking on the rapper’s honesty.

“I want to work with Iggy Azalea,” Chrisette revealed. “I watched her video the other day and I was like—cause she’s talking about walking in her Louboutin’s and how it’s like ‘Dude, I’ve never done this before. I’m not sure if I’m tripping or if I’m standing up straight.’ But she looked so beautiful. But she’s being so honest and I was like ‘Oh my God, [we] would be amazing in the studio together’….And then I like her accent. She’s just cool.”

On top of expressing her appreciation for Iggy Azalea’s lyrical honesty, Chrisette also shared her love for Philly rapper Eve and spoke on being more than impressed by Nicki Minaj’s live show.

“We went to go see her [Nicki Minaj] and she was just so much fun to watch. She’s so theatrical. She had all these props and these lights. I just think that she is fun to watch and to listen to and to be surprised by all the time. You never really know what she’s gonna do,” said the singer.

Chrisette’s interview with Rap-Up TV comes on the heels of today’s release of the singer’s fourth studio album, Better. The album features appearances from Wale, 2 Chainz, Bilal, and more.
