Maybach Music Group artist Wale seemed reluctant to dish out any details on his upcoming album, The Gifted, during an interview with HOT 97, but he eventually began to share the names of the featured talent that can be expected on his third studio album.

The D.C. spitter revealed that Nicki Minaj will be featured on The Gifted on what’s reportedly an up-tempo record titled “Clappers.” The rapper also spoke briefly on a remixed version of the Tiara Thomas-assisted “Bad,” which may also be featured on The Gifted, but will instead feature Rihanna.

Wale, who has had his fair share of social media battles, later went on to speak directly with Peter Rosenberg as the radio personality touched on his ordeal with Nicki Minaj fans via Twitter following last year’s Summer Jam incident.

“I love Nicki Minaj and all of her fans. God bless you all…We wake up to this shit. This troll shit. I’m about this troll life man, this troll response life…I can take an opinion, but I don’t like when you tryna spew hate and like contaminate the way other people think. Our generation—niggas is very impressionable,” Wale explained.

On June 2, Wale will join the likes of Miguel, Wu-Tang Clan, and more for his fourth appearance at HOT 97 Summer Jam. While the rapper likely has a few surprises in store during his set at the annual music festival, he spoke on fans expecting too much when it comes to surprise appearances.

“I wanted to do it like that ‘Harlem World’ video…And the shiny suit, everything,” said Wale jokingly, when speaking on his performance this weekend. “It’ll probably be like a minimal version of that…That’s the thing about Summer Jam…I feel like nobody’s expecting the artist. All I’m saying is that through the years Summer Jam has been known for bringing out—everybody.”
