Snoop Lion will appear on four episodes of the soap opera classic One Life to Live. The artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg will appear May 28 and 30, as well as June 4 and 6, on the long-running television program, which debuted in 1968.

The Long Beach, California artist also produced and is featured on the new One Life to Live theme song, “Brand New Start.” The cut also features singer IZA, an artist signed to Boss Lady Entertainment and Snoop’s Berhane Sound System imprint.

In at least one One Life to Live scene, Snoop Lion shares screen time with Robert. S Woods, who portrays Bo Buchanan on the program. The Buchanan character’s Vietnam experience is loosely based on Woods’ actual service in the Vietnam war.
