Lil Wayne to talk rap retirement, will also provide fans with an update on his health during today's episode of "Rap Fix Live."
Young Money artist Lil Wayne is prepared to make quite the appearance on today’s (May 8) episode of MTV’s “Rap Fix Live.” The Louisiana rapper is scheduled to appear on the show alongside what is nearly the entire YMCMB roster.
Lil Wayne will be joined by the likes of Birdman, Mack Maine, Lil Chuckee, and even Miami-based producer DJ Khaled.
The rapper’s appearance on the heavily Hip Hop-oriented show comes on the heels of news of Wayne being dropped from Mountain Dew. It’s unclear if Wayne will address the now void deal with Mountain Dew during “Rap Fix Live,” but the rapper will touch on his plans for retirement and offer an update on his health.
Normally taped at the MTV headquarters in New York City, today’s episode of “Rap Fix Live” will air live from South Beach, Miami and will last an entire hour.
“Rap Fix Live” will air at 4:00 PM EST on MTV Jams and MTV.com.
UPDATE: Sitting alongside Birdman, Lil Wayne informed fans that he was "100 percent" and revealed that there are no warning signs when he's about to suffer from a seizure.
"I'm good. I'm 100 percent. So everybody know, I don't know that it happens...I can go to sleep, wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I just hope it stops happening," said Wayne.
