The Monster Energy brand recently partnered with Campus DJ and Live Nation for their inaugural Outbreak College Tour. There will be multiple genres of music on the tour and it will include a respected group of lyricist. Outkast’s Big Boi, Wale, T.Mills, Ab-Soul, Wallpaper, and Jhene Aiko will be representing Hip Hop culture among Pop, Rock and Electronic musicians like DJ 3LAU, Young Blood Hawke, Seven Lions, & CLMD.
Ohio native Mike Boogie will be Deejaying on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour at the University of Austin. The deejay/producer has worked with heavy hitters like Eminem, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep and more. On the date he is performing there is a scheduled surprise headliner; with Boogie’s urban background it’s possible that it is a Hip Hop artist. Mike Boogie released a mixtape, Dirty Slums 2 with Slum Village back in January.
Mike Boogie is holding it down for the Deejay veterans but the Monster Energy OutBreak Tour will also feature upcoming college Deejay’s that won a Campus DJ competition.

In news related to Monster Energy Outbreak Tour performers; Wale reportedly teamed up with Jerry Seinfeld for an upcoming album entitled The Album About Nothing and revealed the released date for his third studio album Gifted is June 25. XXL Freshman and TDE member Ab-Soul has teamed up singer/songwriter JMSN to collaborate on a project Unit 6.
The tenth date on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour was cancelled in honor of Steve Brodsky, a vital and inspiring member of the Bay Area music community and manager of Wallpaper; who lost his battle with Leukemia in March at 34. In lieu of a concert, the tour producers have decided to contribute the budget towards a college fund established for Steve’s children.
