B-Real Applauds Snoop Lion & Suge Knight Squashing Beef
Cypress Hill's B-Real says Snoop Lion and Suge Knight's reunion helps the West Coast solidify its strength.
Earlier this year, Snoop Lion (f/k/a Snoop Dogg) and Suge Knight apparently set aside their differences and reconciled.
Fellow West Coast emcee B-Real recently opined on the move, explaining that it was a positive one.
"I think it was good move on both parties," said B-Real in an interview with VladTV. "They created something so big and great while it was together."
"They held up the West Coast in such a way nobody had done before, you know what I'm saying?" he added. "When it broke up, it was a shame to see that shit break up."
The Cypress Hill emcee was relieved to see Snoop and Suge squash their longstanding beef. "After all these years and all these different things happening, from threats to diss songs to rises and falls and shit, it's good to see them squash it. There doesn't need to be any of that bullshit.
Ultimately, B-Real explained that moves like these will go a long way towards uniting the West Coast. "It's like I said, man. The only way this coast can get strong is if we squash our bullshit and start fucking working together again, to whatever degree it is. I don't know that Snoop and Suge are going to work on anything ever again, but it's good to know that they can be in a room with each other, and nobody's going to get fucking hurt."
In the mid-'90s, Snoop Lion (then Snoop Dogg) made a contentious departure from Death Row Records. Suge Knight was co-founder and then-CEO of the notorious label.
