Ne-Yo Sued By Once-Alleged Baby Mother For Defamation

A woman who once claimed Ne-Yo fathered her child is suing the singer.
Ne-Yo's word choice on a VH1 program may come back to haunt him.
TMZ reports that Jesseca White is suing the R&B singer for painting her as "an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child ... so that she could fraudulently bilk him of 'ungodly amounts of money.'"
In 2005, White had a child, and she claimed Ne-Yo was the father. However, a paternity test absolved the singer.
White alleges that she did not try to defraud the singer, and that Ne-Yo's statements on the VH1 program "Behind the Music" has led her to be called derogatory names, and that her career as a photographer and graphic designer has suffered as a result.
White is suing for unspecified damages.
Last year, Ne-Yo left Def Jam and signed with Motown Records as an artist and Senior VP of A&R.
