Sinnamon Love Launches "Sex, Love & Hip Hop" Live Series

Jean Grae joins radio personality, journalist and retired adult film star Sinnamon Love for an interactive performance and interview series March 12 in Harlem.

On Tuesday, March 12, at 8:00 pm, radio personality, journalist and retired adult film star Sinnamon Love will partner with The High End Agency and MIST Harlem to launch the “Sex Love + Hip Hop” live performance and interview series. Sinnamon calls the show an extension of her weekly radio show of the same name, which can be found on DTF Radio. The show began as a sex, love and relationship column for TheWellVersed.com, and Sinnamon says the interactive series will provide elements her written and radio work couldn’t due to the restrictions of format.

“I wanted to put together something with a live audience that was a little more intimate; I could do a one on one with the artists,” Sinnamon told HipHopDX. “I like being able to showcase the artists that other people are fans of. I like letting them talk about things that other people don’t usually get them to talk about. It gives them an opportunity to talk about things other than the music.”

The inaugural series event on March 12 will feature Jean Grae, Miss Lola Bastadino of Playboy TV, DJ Bazarro and Harlem vocalist Chenzira. Sinnamon essentially called the decision to incorporate Brooklyn emcee and HipHopDX favorite, Jean Grae a no-brainer.

“Jean is one of my best friends,” she added. “We’ve known each other for years, we love each other and she’s super dope. I knew that she would be an active participant in my show, and it wouldn’t be like pulling teeth to get her to answer questions. She trusts me enough to ask me questions and ask them respectfully. Anyone who follows her on Twitter knows—she’s one of the smartest, wittiest people. I wanted the first show to feature somebody that I like, respect and will have me laughing on stage.”

MIST Harlem is located at 46 West 116th St. General admission tickets can be purchased for $20, and are available online via the following link - http://tinyurl.com/SLHHarlem.
