50 Cent Says Original G-Unit Could Reunite & Says Tour Is Coming

50 Cent says he thinks G-Unit has a chance at a reunion.

Another week, another opinion from 50 Cent about a potential G-Unit reunion.

In recent months, Fif has gone back and forth regarding the possibility of a reunion with Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. After recently saying the reunion probably wouldn't occur, it appears 50 has change his mind again.

In an interview with ESPN, 50 broached the subject. Previously the Queens rapper questioned the work ethics of his former artist. Now, he questioned that of his current ones.

"The original G-Unit, maybe. We might do something. I'll be honest with you. Some of these new artists on the label I don't think are working as hard as they could," 50 admitted. "I don't know how hard they want to work or how much they want it. I could see the original coming back together though."

Fif also spoke about his next album, Street King Immortal, and revealed that a tour was in the works. "'We Up' likely will be on my next CD. I'm going to hit the tour after that. Music is the reason I've been able to be a part of this brand extension. I turned down some film projects to open time to hit the road. It's like hitting the restart button."

Earlier this month 50 Cent joined a number of emcees in sharing his favorite Hip Hop love song.

"If you think for a minute he wouldn't care for a platinum album you're kidding yourself" Of course he would, but you can't live in the past. Obviously he's built a body of work that while some might sleep on to others is impressive.

"not the mention fat boy would be bragging and congratulating himself" Why would he care? Ponder that for a sec.

every time he refers to his album he says , my Gold Selling God Forgives, I Don't or the Grammy Nominated God Forgives I Don't. He's all about that shit. If you think for a minute he wouldn't care for a platinum album you're kidding yourself

"your music collection must be pathetic" At least I buy albums. You steal them then bash the very people you steal from.

i dont steal music rick ross, you couldnt pay me to listen to that shit and i buy records, im a hipster dj

"did you google it? got any proof yet?" Once again, alot of artists go platinum years later. It's not like Nas held a press conference after Crapmatic finally crossed a mill. And why do you care anyway? You don't buy any of these albums.

it would be listed on the RIAA website if it shipped a million copies not the mention fat boy would be bragging and congratulating himself. just admit you were wrong. you really hating on illmatic now too? your music collection must be pathetic.

Doesn't matter if it took 8 years. He went platinum whether you accept it or not. Go listen to Cassidy. He seems right up your loser alley.
    • Anonymous
but he didnt go platinum yet! i was just saying its gonna be at least 8 years when if he ever finally does it. did you google it? got any proof yet?

"that doesnt mean it sold 500k more copies, if it did they would have certified it platinum in 2013" Illmatic went gold back in 1996, but didn't go platinum until 2001. Obviously Def Jam would track this sort of thing, so even if they haven't bothered getting the certification, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

yes it does. do you really think a think nicca would hold off on getting his first platinum album if that shit shipped over a million copies didnt happen. ross has no platinum records and when he finally does it will have taken 8 years LOL

no proof means no platinum albums you bitch nigga.

"according to the RIAA it's not" They certified it gold back in 06. It's now 2013. Do the math.
    • Anonymous
that doesnt mean it sold 500k more copies, if it did they would have certified it platinum in 2013 DUHHH!

If you google it you will come up dry. Not even 1 website on the whole internet will say Port of Miami is platinum after 7 fucking years!
  • Anonymous
"zero platinum albums" Port of Miami, fella.
    • Anonymous

"yayo pays his child support and speaks to his children" 50 pays Yayo's child support. Don't front.

"if ross has so many more fans than 50 cent why has he never gone platinum" He has gone platinum. You must feel pretty stupid right now.
    • Anonymous
no he hasnt! 2 platinum singles zero platinum albums

"saying endorsements isn't a grind" How hard is it really to endorse something? You shoot a few takes and cash the check. A grind is doing things that require actual effort and some semblance of skill.
  • Anonymous
"struggling to go gold is nothing to brag about" He's already gone gold before, so what does it really matter?
  • Anonymous
"you mean like ross claims 305 M-I-Yayo" He didn't speak out againsn't Wayne though meaning when he shouts Miami out it's part of his act, not his desire to die for his city.

"ross came in around the same time but hasn't accomplished anything near what 50 did his first year" True, their first albums couldn't be further apart sales wise, but then again, Ross didn't have nearly the same push 50 had. People were made to believe 50 was cool because Eminem vouched for him. With a co-sign like that no wonder he sold 8 mill out the gate.
  • Anonymous
"If its so easy why aren't all these other rappers on his level or rich like him?" Cause most weren't pushed/hyped/co-signed like 50 was.
  • Anonymous
Look at the nonsense you type saying endorsements isn't a grind, like you pull up elevators with your arms in skyscrapers to pay your taxes. "Old money" is what makes the world go around moron and Ross has an endorsement deal with Reebok. stFU
    • Anonymous
for real! people dont endorse irrelevant artists with no fans to
  • Anonymous
i hope they get together, they put together some good stuff
  • Anonymous
    G-GAYNIT back...they all fricken stink
  • Anonymous
"you trying to say 50 didn't grind?" All he does is use old money to buy stock into companies that in turn use his name to sell their products. That doesn't impress me, or seem like a grind. If that impresses you then maybe you need to get out more.
    • Anonymous
Where did that old money come from? If its so easy why aren't all these other rappers on his level or rich like him? Ross biggest business deal is buying Wingstop franchises, small time shit.
    • Anonymous
you say old money but 50 only been hot in the game 10 years. ross came in around the same time but hasn't accomplished anything near what 50 did his first year.
  • Anonymous
"because wayne has more money.... why you flip flop like that so much?" If Pit had Wayne's money he wouldn't have spoken out. That's my opinion. How many people have probably said screw Miami before, whether they were talking about a professional sports team or just the city in general. The "lower level rappers" are always the one's who cling to cities because they aren't successful enough to claim somewhere better.
    • Anonymous
you mean like ross claims 305 M-I-Yayo
  • Anonymous
"than Rick Ross's newest single got in 3 weeks" Yet Ross has a gold album out while 50 has a long delayed album with poorly received singles that can't even make the cut on Itunes lol
    • Anonymous
struggling to go gold is nothing to brag about! so what if he doesn't have an album out. he has extremely high expectations to live up to being a multi platinum selling artists. he's not just gonna put his album out and let it flop just for the sake of putting something out every year.

Fiddy, changing your mind every time like a confused girl is not a good look homie. The good news is your punching bag, Ja Rule, is getting out in July. So U can go back to bullying him soon.

"But you say he has no fans" If he has so many fans why didn't his last album go platinum?
    • Anonymous
if ross has so many more fans than 50 cent why has he never gone platinum? LOL great arguement
    • Art Brooks
Gold is the new platinum in this age where the CD is an endangered species. I'm not a fan of Ross or anything, I'm just saying

"you in every 50 cent article hating on the gawd" Get a life and a new favorite rapper.
