Drake To Release First Single From New Album On Grammy Awards Night
Drake gears up for the release of his new single, which has two rumored titles.
Drake is prepping the release of his new single, slated to impact on the night of the Grammy Awards (February 10th).
According to Billboard, the Young Money rapper has titled the track either "The Start From the Bottom" or "Started From the Bottom." The single will be the first from Drizzy's untitled third album, reportedly releasing this year. Pictures of Drake on the set of a video shoot surfaced earlier this month, possibly for the track.
Speaking on Grammy night, Cash Money Records co-CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams previously said, "This year we got something in store. We got a new record coming out this year. It's just one of those nights that, after seeing each other together, that'll be like the highlight of our night, the highlight of our life, the highlight of our year."
Drake previously released his sophomore album Take Care in November 2011. The project has sold 1.9 million copies to date and spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
