Kanye West joins a lineup that includes Azealia Banks, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu and more.
Kanye West has been tapped to headline New York City, New York's Governors Ball.
The festival, which takes place on June 7-9 on Randall's Island, will also be headlined by Kings of Leon and an artist that's yet to be announced. Additional performers on the roster include Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Azealia Banks, Gary Clark Jr., Miguel, Grizzly Bear, Pretty Lights, The xx, Feist and more.
The press release notes that this marks the first non-Throne headlining slot for West since 2008, though 'Ye did hold the stage on his own with consecutive performances at Revel Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey late last year.
