Lyor Cohen allegedly teams with Irv Gotti for his yet-to-be-announced management company.
Rumors have been swirling that Lyor Cohen left Warner Music Group to start his own management company.
Now, the NY Post reports that the music mogul has made his first hire. Earlier this week, Cohen reportedly tapped former The Inc. honcho Irv Gotti to serve as his partner in the firm.
Gotti is supposedly trying to advise Drake as part of his new position. A picture of the two recently made the rounds on the Internet. Cohen, meanwhile, is looking to advise Kanye West as previously reported.
“If Lyor and Irv do work together, it’s possible they’ll have two of the biggest hip-hop stars under their management,” said a source.
