Kendrick Lamar has revealed which album he considers his favorite of 2012.

During an interview with Rap-Up.com, K. Dot said that aside from his major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, he considered Nas’ Life is Good as his top LP of the year. “Nas, yup yup. Life is Good. Crazy album,” he said.

He also touched on his unexpected collaboration with Dido, “Let Us Move On,” explaining that she reached out to him and he was immediately on board.

“She basically reached out and said she wanted to work with me. It’s Dido,” he said. “You can’t say no to that. Incredible artist. Once I got the word, I immediately got in the studio.”

As for his storied collaborative album with J. Cole, fans might have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on a joint LP. “Everybody’s asking for that. I just finished my album, of course he’s going back in on his second album. We should find a time and meet him and lock in.”
