UGK Inducted Into Museum Of The Gulf Coast Music Hall Of Fame

UGK gets regionally recognized for their musical contributions.

Even after Pimp C's death, UGK continues to make waves.

Bun B and Pimp C were inducted into the Museum of the Gulf Coast Music Hall of Fame on Sunday (December 2), reports Rap Radar.

The induction took place in the group's native Port Arthur, Texas, and was held two days before the fifth anniversary of Pimp C's death.

Bun B, his family, and Pimp C's mother were present for the ceremony.

“We’re one and the same,” said Bun of Port Arthur. “It is very hard to separate me from Port Arthur and Port Arthur from me and that’s a good thing.”

“Chad loved Port Arthur so much,” said Weslyn “Mama Wes” Monroe, Pimp C's mother. “This is a tremendous thing today.”
