The Hip Hop Week In Review: French Montana & 50 Cent Trade Words, Shyne Blasts Rick Ross & Diddy

French Montana and 50 Cent traded barbs on Twitter, while Shyne put Diddy and Rick Ross on blast in an interview. Gucci Mane also threw shots at Young Jeezy.

This week was rife with Hip Hop beef. After French Montana gave an interview stating that 50 Cent sabotaged his own career by fighting with others, Fif responded on Twitter by going on a rant that put the Bad Boy rapper on blast. Shyne also tossed shots at Bad Boy's chief Diddy as well as Rick Ross, claiming that Puff only cares about himself and Rozay disrespected Judaism by releasing his Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape. Gucci Mane also fired a shot in Young Jeezy's direction, stating that he has "no respect" for him and that they will "never" reconcile. Jeezy responded by calling Gooch "retarded."

French Montana & 50 Cent Fire Shots In Media & On Twitter

French Montana gave an interview earlier this week that opened up a can of worms. The Bad Boy/MMG rapper said that 50 Cent sabotaged his own career by beefing with other rappers, stating, "I feel like beef hurt him. I feel like it helped [Rick Ross] unite people." Ironically, that spurred a spar with Fif, who didn't take too kindly to the comments. Taking to Twitter, the G-Unit boss fired back some shots in his direction. "French Montana you ain't Sh!t boy. You out your league talking about me you hoe.i read your little interview what the fucx is you high," he wrote. "French your Sh!t so weak you never had a song by your self fool. Ain't nobody's waiting to hear your verse. Girl." French responded, "damnnn homie last year u was da mannnnn homieeeeeee wat da fuuuckkk happen to uuuuuu" and to stop wearing jean shorts.

Shyne Puts Diddy, Rick Ross & Drake On Blast

Shyne only recently reconciled with Diddy after years of ill will, burying the hatchet in Paris, France. But shortly after they mended fences, Po fired back at the Bad Boy mogul, releasing the diss track "You're Welcome" and breaking their truce. During an interview given earlier this week, the rapper now known as Moses Levi went in on Puff, explaining that he tried to encourage Combs to help out African-American and Latin-American youths but that he only cared about himself. He also focused his attention on Rick Ross, stating, "I always speak my mind. I just find it curious that when Shyne Po do his Judaism thing and I’m on my Israelite thing, dudes was taking shots and poking fun at that and now, fat boy is coming out with Black Bar Mitzvah. I have a lot of issues with him, but my most important issue is that to me, old boy is like Donnie Brasco." Shyne also took a moment to peel off a few rounds at Drake, calling him "an actor from Canada."

Gucci Mane Says He Has "No Respect" For Young Jeezy, Jeezy Calls Him "Retarded"

Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy have had a storied beef with one another. This week, tensions once again mounted after Gooch gave an interview claiming that he has "no respect" for the Snowman and that they will "never" reconcile. Gucci, who also said that he'll be dropping 10 albums in 2013, remarked, "It's respect, walk over here and there gon' be some problems. I ain't got no respect for him. I just did what I have to do." Jeezy didn't take too kindly to his comments, calling him and revealing that Gucci reached out to him several times to collaborate. "I feel like everybody know that boy retarded, nobody take him seriously. He got an ice cream cone on his face," said Jeezy. "That being said, I'm not going back. I'm going forward."
