Snoop Dogg Starts Monster Energy Partnership With Car Giveaway
As part of a joint partnership with Monster Energy Drink and DUB magazine, Snoop is giving away his 1963 Coupe de Ville.
Snoop Dogg has added Monster Energy Drink to his ever-growing portfolio of endorsements, which has previously included T-Mobile, Pepsi, Adidas, St. Ides and Chrysler. The newly christened Snoop Lion will kick off the partnership by giving away one of his classic cars—a 1963 Cadillac Coupe de Ville customized by DUB magazine with a Monster Energy paint job.
“Snoop Dogg came to us and said, ‘Hey, I’m partnering with DUB magazine and Monster Energy, how do we do something cool for somebody?’” explained Myles Kovacs, President and Co-founder of DUB.
Snoop’s customizations include a matte black paint job, custom rims and Monster Energy insignias throughout the ride. The DUB giveaway is part of Snoop’s ongoing partnership with Monster, which also includes a special surprise appearance from Snoop on the Monster Energy DUB Show Tour.
While Snoop Lion says he’ll miss the one of a kind car, he added that the recipient “will have have a real, fun time in it…they’re gonna feel like a real, true champion.”
